It’s not fair…I have veen feeling “Under the Weather” recently. I haven’t been eating much, and dislike lights. Can’t use PC very well, so i have turned the brightness down completley.

I not gonna post anymore until I am feeling better! :?
See You Later :P

Half Term

Well, here we are at that time of year again. Time to relax, socialise and have fun…yeah right!!!

Got a lot of work to get done this week, including:

  • 2 Media Studies Essays
  • 1 Section of my Resistant Materials Profolio
  • 1 Geography Exam
  • 1 Geography Essay
  • 1 Visual Basic Exercise

Usually I could get that done, however I am at work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. On Thursday, Saturday I will be on duty…hmm, maybe I should shut-up and get on with my work.

First Aider called to own Emergency

Roger FluxWell, I found this funny when I heard it!

A first aider suffering a suspected heart attack received a pager message sending him to his own emergency.

Roger Flux, 66, a volunteer community responder for Hampshire Ambulance Service, had chest pains in bed at his New Forest home.

His wife called 999 as a precaution and paramedics were on the scenes within minutes.

It was then that Mr Flux got a pager message scrambling him to the emergency at his own house.

He said: “I was on call that evening and during the middle of the night I had severe chest pains right across my chest and jaw.

“In a couple of minutes the ambulance crews were here and investigating and in the meantime I asked my wife to get my response bag.

“While I was sitting down my pager went off, telling me to attend to a man with chest pains. Then I looked at the address - it was my own.”

By the time cardiac specialists at Southampton General Hospital decided it had been a false alarm, Mr Flux saw the funny side of it.

“At least it shows the system works,” he said.

Guess Who!!

I’m back. What’s this, 5 messages today!

Just to let you know my phone did arrive. Now I have to sit there and retype all of my numbers!!

Burning!!

Fire at LavantJust going through my Camera after taking the picture of my dead phone, when I remebered about a picture I took recently. I had just got home from Adults, and was eating my tea (as you do at around 10pm!) when I looked out the window to see a yellow glow. It was a fire down near Lavant, miles away from my house and I could see the fire quite clearly.

It was later apparent that 2,500 tonnes of straw had been involved in another arson attack!

Oh Darn…

Dead PhoneWent to use my phone today…had to reply to a text with a friend that I have not seen for about 6 Months! I was talking to her whilst at the Graduation thingy last night and my phone worked fine!Took my phone out this morning, and all I could see was lines of the backlight. I have had that phone for about 2 months, and on closer inspection I noticed that the screen had smashed, and you could only see the backlight through the gaps. My reaction to that was very similar to the title of this post, just a bit louder and ruder!

Oh well, so we rang Orange to explain that my screen was “dead” (technical term!!), and as I was on contract, they said they would replace it. So I was thinking, what am I going to do without my phone for a week or so, until they said “It should be with you between 6pm and 10pm tonight”. Now that is what I call service! I’ll let you know if it comes!

Graduation

Was on Duty Last night until about 20mins ago. Went to the University of Chichester Graduation Ball. Earlier, in my old Blog, I wrote about the May Ball.

May Ball Post Goes Here

This one was pretty similar, with the live music (incl. Judge Jules) and the Fun Fair. We thought that we might take a walk around, until a security guard alerted us of a casualty, so Mrs.B, Stu and I attended. It appeared that she was a “*Tiny*” bit drunk and trod on some glass in barefoot. There was a fair bit of Blood, and the glass still stuck in her foot. An Ambulance Aid guy decided to help where he used direct pressure and a wound pad. She was carried to the Ambulance, whilst Stu and Mrs.B cleaned the floor. I then went over the floor with the disinfectant.

Mr.W decided that he wanted to go to sleep, so he sat layed down in the back of the vehicle. Then the two drunken girls from the May Ball turned up. They came over to Stu and me to ask where Mr.W and Mrs.S were. We took them to Mr.W where that sat chatting and taking more photos. Bit later, they said to Stuart, “You were the one that took us to the Ambulance last time!” to which I turned round and said “What about me, I was there!” I can’t believe they didn’t remember me. Oh well, they were a bit drunk!

And the girl who hurt her knee on the dodgems. Whilst we had ice on her leg to stop the swelling, her friend was complaining about the broken heel on her shoe. I had a quick, witty response of “That’s why I don’t wear my heels on duty!”

Great Duty, of which I will do again! Must remember a decent flask of tea next time. Perhaps get mum to make it, as I managed to stew it recently!

Open Evening

The suit came back today…I had to wear it to sho parents and children around the school. It was our job to sell the school so that the children will attend next year.

The first person I showed round was good. It was my old Year 5 teacher. I hadn’t seen him for nearly seven years. It was amazing that he still recognised me! He wanted his son to join the school, so we took them round, even if most of it was taken up by PE.

The second family that I had to show round were not as nice. They didn’t seem too bothered about their child getting one of the places. They were just annoyed that they had missed the meeting, and had to wait another hour for the talk. Oh well, that sould encourage them to be on time in future!

I did notice that my GCSE Technology project was on display. My Train Shape sorter that I mentioned in the past. Well that just shows that it is one of the good ones!! It got me an A!!

I didn’t enjoy having to miss St. John Ambulance though, sounded quite fun from what I have heard. Isn’t that right Mr.B!!

Are We Back???

Sorry for not pisting, but I do have an excuse!! My site was hosted on Stu’s Server, which he had to unplug when he moved to Uni…However his “New” flat did not have an active telephone line, and it has taken this long to make it better…Nethertheless, we are live and Kicking again, however with a new design on a new server. I am now being hosted by Evohosting UK, and using the Andreas Viklund design. Well at least I like it, don’t care about you lot!!

I will create a link to the old blog when Stu’s server is up ‘n’ running.
