Many people have already questioned me on this. Whilst filling in the “I’ve Been Tagged” post, I made a small mistake.
Where it says siblings, I have one sister…..I was having an off day!!

I was on duty at the Charlton Chase last night…It was a long 16 hours, which started at 1500 yesterday, and finished at 0730 this morning.
No casualties until around 1.15 this morning. Myself and Mr.M were asked to attend a male with a swollen ankle. This is not unusual for this sort of event, where the novices wear new boots, and walk round for 6 hours non-stop…it turned out to be one of the more experienced walkers, who was in the lead until he tripped at the last minute.
He had taken his boot off straight away, and caught a minibus back to the main hall, where we paid him a visit. Even with the thick socks on, the swelling was visable. After removing the sock (it took time…he was in pain!!), we applied a “Cold Compress”, whilst telling him that it is probably best if he goes to hospital for an X-Ray. Two/Three ice packs later, the swelling had not reduced. If anything, it had increased. This is when he was offered a lift in the ambulance by Mr.W.
He transfered himself onto our chair, which was wheeled to the vehichle where he transfered himself to the cot…How I love helpful patients. After a trip to A+E and back, we found out that our collegues had been busy in the shortish time we were gone. A couple more ankles, wrists etc.

Hamster was back on our screens today, with the new series of Top Gear. He bravely showed us the footage of his horrendous accident some weeks back…great episode, and I wonder if any roadworks suddenly speed up, after they proved that it is possible to completley re-surface a 1.5mile length of road in 24hrs.

Anyway, got a day off sixth form tomorrow. I am gonna make my way to PC World and Staples to get a few things, then have a lazy day at home.

Right, as many of you know, Saddam Hussein was hanged on Saturday 30th December 2006…
Earlier today, I was told that you didn’t have to search hard to find videos of the execution, which shows the full hanging. AlthoughI believed who told me, I could not believe that anyone would put images like this on the internet, available for all to see.
Anyway, not feeling too well today, So I am going to leave this a short post.

Note: When I say “We”, I am using it as a hypothetical term for the government…I did not support this event in any way, shape or form.
Well, it is now exactly midnight (well, about), and as usual, I am my anti-social self, sitting at home watching the new year arrive on the tv…
May I take this time to wish you all the best of luck for the forthcoming year, I hope that you all acheive your wildest goals. May you stay in good health, and keep safe.
I have decided to borrow a resolution off “Grumpy Old Men”, which is to give up smoking…great thing is that I have never smoked anyway.
More seriously, I am making a list of things that I would like to do, not only in the forthcoming year, but during my life. To see this list, Click Here…
