2008!

Well…here we are, in the year 2k8. I realise I havn’t blogged in a while, and thought I would give you an update on what I have been up to.

I went to Paris at the beginning of December, as a school Media trip. It was a fantastic experience, mainly at Disney Land. They do say a photo is worth more than 1000 words, so photos are to follow.

I also got me a new job. I have been working at a large superstore (Well known) as a “Trolley Boy” (or if you are PC…Trolley Person). Now I can guess what you are thinking, but it is actually a really good job. I am working outside with the elments, and don’t just sit at a desk/checkout all day!

Christmas was really good. I spent the whole day with my darling girlfriend. As Christmasses go, this was the best by far! And the New Year began..well, today! I wen to Vikki’s house, along with her family and her friends. It was a really good night!

I need some inspiration on things to write this year, so please E-Mail me on blog.ideas@tomdimmock.co.uk

Best wishes for the forthcoming year!

    Sir Dimmock,

I would be annoyed that despite your promises to interact on this site more are not being fulfilled if it were not for the irony of the last post promising such an action being from two months ago.

I can only assume that you are making a political statement protesting against the United States of America’s use of waterboarding to gain information from alleged terrorist suspects.

    I salute you.

    PS

For those without knowledge of waterboarding, it is the latest addition to a selection of water based extreme sports and is thought to have been invented by a Mr Phillips whose original purpose was to gain revenge on a particularly troublesome duck who had been responsible for the untimely destruction of Mr Phillips’ high school science fair project which consisted of seein g how wet a piece of bread was able to get before being able to fly.
